TDA8953 is a class D product of NXP (NXP Semiconductor) company,TDA8953 is 2 x 210 W class D power amplifier, this site introduces the product description of TDA8953, features and advantages, product package diagram, etc., and gives the NXP component models related to TDA8953 for reference.
TDA8953 Description:
The TDA8953 is a stereo or mono channel high efficiency Class D audio power amplifier with a low power consumption single IC. The device is designed to provide up to 2 x 210 W of power to 4Ω loads in stereo single-ended (SE) applications, or 1 x 420 W to 8Ω loads in mono channel bridging load (BTL) applications.
The device combines the benefits of Class D efficiency (about 93% at 4Ω load) with high fidelity sound quality, comparable to combining Class AB amplification.
The amplifier operates in a wide supply voltage range from ± 12.5V to ± 42.5V with low static current consumption.
The TDA8953 provides two diagnostic pins for monitoring thermal reentry (TFB) status, overcurrent protection (OCP), and other protection circuits.
